• 4 July 2014—The Law, Crime and Community Safety Council (LCCSC) endorsed the expansion of DVS access amongst government and private sector organisations in Australia and New Zealand that meet the necessary requirements of the Privacy Act 1988. Commonwealth, state and territory officials are working through the National Identity Security Coordination Group to develop guidelines to enable businesses to assess whether they are eligible to apply to become DVS business users.
